Big Girl Bed

This afternoon Savannah told me she wanted to nap in her big girl bed and NOT her toddler bed. I didn't argue. Here she is for the first time ever sleeping in her big girl bed. She's growing up so fast! Makes me sad.


















I pulled out the trundle bed underneath her bed just in case she falls out of bed! It'll cushion her landing a little bit. :)

Benjamin's Interview

A couple of weeks ago I interviewed Benjamin. I knew I'd get a laugh out of his answers. Thought I'd share:

So Benjamin, what's your favorite kind of dinosaur?
T-Rex, Velociraptors, and a bunch of meat eaters.

What's your favorite season and why?
Summer, because you can play in summer.

What's your favorite food?
Chicken nuggets, french fries, ketchup.

What's your favorite color?
Verde....green.

What's your favorite movie?
How to Train your Horse.
(I kept trying to correct him and tell him it's not "horse" it's "dragon". He would just laugh and kept saying horse).

What's your favorite animal?
Lion, Buffalo, Snake and every kind of man eater.

Favorite fruit and drink?
Strawberries and orange juice.

What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Rainbow (ummm, he's never had rainbow).

What is the thing called where we put our dirty clothes?
Dirty hands closer. ..dirty holmes clanser.

In closing, what do you want to say?
God. He protects me and is powerful. Barnyard. Barnyard dance. Abby-Claire can come to my house. The End.

Happy Birthday Frederick

June 30th was Frederick's 8th birthday. We had a good time! Cupcakes, presents, and decorations...yes, he was spoiled.

The day before his birthday I had the kids decorate a birthday banner for him. Below is how it turned out. Notice the holes in it? That's Benjamin way of decorating.
