Mother's Day with Mom
Mom and I had our usual blast on Mother's Day this year. This time we spent the day in downtown McKinney shopping and sipping on wine. I introduced her to SnapChat. After 2 glasses of wine we got downright silly with it. I feel sorry for the rest of the customers in the restaurant, we were laughing so hard at times we were crying.
Butterfly Habitat
The kids had a blast with the butterfly habitat we bought. We received the little caterpillars (or callipitters as Savannah calls them) in the mail and watched them form their chrysalises and then hatch into butterflies. On the day we released them we invited some dear friends from Three Roads over to participate.
Winstar Casino
We met my dear friend Sherry and her husband at Winstar again this year for the Harry Connick, Jr. concert. Always a blast. I got a huge surprise while I was there, too. A friend who I hadn't seen in years met us there as well. Renee was one of my first friends here after I moved to Dallas. Good times!

Mini Entreprenuers
The kids thought it would be a good idea to sell some toys. So they set it all up outside and sat there for an hour waiting on someone to pass by to buy something. Not a single person came by, bless them. They passed the time reading which Mom gives a two thumbs up for that! Savannah also was trying to sell our turtle, Shelly - no sense of attachment there!

San Antonio Road Trip
David had a conference in San Antonio so we decided to make a family vacation out of it. I ended up with the kids on my own a lot but we had a ton of fun.
San Antonio or bust!
A duck had laid eggs right outside of our hotel on the river. Savannah had to check on them several times a day. Sadly, they didn't hatch while we there.
Rainforest Cafe
One of their favorite things to do in the room was peek through the peep hole. Things tended to get a little crazy in the room. The kids know how to have fun that's for sure! Our poor neighbors.......
House of Mirrors was a blast!
