Date Nights

We've had a couple of really great date nights lately.  The first one was Richard unveiling his art studio to the Original 24 group.  First, they started us out at III Forks and then they shuttled us all over in a limo bus to the studio.  We met a lot of great people and we're so excited to part of this group.

On our way to the studio in the limo bus.

The second was to see the Indigo Girls.  My friend Melanie contacted me as soon as she received an email about the McKinney Performing Arts Center having the Indigo Girls do an upcoming show.  I quickly got on their website to get tickets.  We were number 2 in line to get tickets and ended up getting front row center.....how's that for not procrastinating!  Ha!  We had a great time.....you would think the girls would recognize me by now with all the concerts and meet and greets we've been to.....oh well......

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures at the concert, but this is David and me before the show.

Sweet & Sassy

Savannah's friend Emily took her to Sweet & Sassy for her birthday.  The girls got their hair done, face painted, new shoes, manicures, and pedicures.  They were such little ladies!  It was precious.  I had perma grin the entire time.  Savannah told me later that day that she doesn't want to do gymnastics anymore.....that she only wants to do Sweet & Sassy EVERYDAY!

Ben turns SIX!!

How many times can you celebrate one birthday?  According to how we did Ben's birthday......that would be four.  :)

First, he went to Chuck E Cheese with his best friend, Chris.  We went on a Thursday and the place was so quiet.  It was lovely.

The next day was the Perot museum with Grandma Nancy, Granddaddy, Aunt Laura, and cousins Andrew and Abby.  Unfortunately I didn't get a single picture from that place!!  What was I thinking?  The place is incredible.  Can't wait to go back without the kids though.

After the Perot museum we all headed over for dinner and birthday cake at Dream Cafe and Daddy and Uncle Abraham were able to join us at that time as well.

The next morning was his actual birthday so we did our tradition of birthday donuts at our favorite donut shop.  Aunt Laura, Abby and Andrew were able to join us this year!  :)

Finally, later that day Grandmother and Grandpa came over with a Star Wars birthday cake.  Thankfully the Joseph's were around and were able to be there and so were the Barnes.  :)  Lucky boy!

Dollar Tree Trip

Boredom set in heavily one day so we took a trip to Dollar Tree.  Out of all the toys to choose from Savannah chooses goggles.  Of course, as with any Dollar Tree purchase, the item was broken the moment we walked in the door............

Studio Nunez

We celebrated the opening of our dear friend Richard's art studio in Valley View mall recently.  We are so proud of him.  It's truly been an answer to prayers!

Nunez hanging his sign!
