Crossfit Open 19
The Crossfit Open is finally over (after 5 long weeks). So glad. However, I did get my very first ever hand stand pushup during the competition, in fact, I got 4 of them!
Mirtha, Eduardo, & Emily
Some of our favorite friends came to stay with us for the weekend. Had a great time going to dinner at St. Rocco's and celebrating Rocco's 11th birthday at Sweet Firefly.
Obstacle Warrior Kids
Ari and Bethanna joined us for Obstacle Warrior Kids one evening. Mama joined in on the fun too and could hardly move the next day!
Family Visit
Went to Grandmother's house (Pottsboro) to visit with Uncle Odell and cousin Gary who were in town.
Lifetime Fitness Swim Team
After many months of hard work and practice, this little fishy finally made the Lifetime Swim team!

Got Lucky
I walked out on our patio one morning and saw that the bag David puts our ashes in from the fireplace had caught fire during the night. How in the world it didn't spread onto the wood on the wall it was next to I'll never know. Whew, that was a close one!

Christmas Margaritas
We spent an evening with Christie & her family playing games and having Christmas margaritas. Always a good time with them!
Christmas 2018
For Christmas my mom & dad came to visit. Mom spent the night on Christmas Eve and my dad came on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, the only day of the year I got sick was on Christmas Day so I don't have many pictures. I spent the majority of the day sleeping on the couch while my mom & dad sat visiting in the kitchen & catching up. My favorite day of the year and of course that's the only day I'm sick of the entire year.
Bahamas
Abbey won a trip for two to the Bahamas through her work. She invited me to go along. We had a blast! The highlight was definitely swimming with the dolphins. I seriously considered just staying there and becoming a dolphin trainer. Ha!
Impromptu Movie Date
Not sure what movie we were seeing but we decided to spice things up a bit and go to a movie in the middle of the day during the week. Fun stuff!
Halloween 2018
We spent Halloween with Knox & Hollis at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. We had just gotten back from our South America trip that morning. We were TIRED but the kids had lots of fun.
Uruguay & Argentina
We took a two week vacation to Argentina and Uruguay. We spent a night in Montevideo then traveled to Buenos Aires for a few days. The rest of the time was spent in Punta del Esta, Uruguay.
