Wiggly Play Center

This morning we met some of Benjamin's friends from his Gymboree class at Wiggly Play Center in Frisco. He had the best time - except for when he slid down the slide and hit his head. Poor thing. He now has a knot on the back of his head. Needless to say, he wasn't much interested in going back on the slide.

Dedication to Abraham!

Today's post is dedicated to my brother-in-law, Abraham. After the trip we took to Orlando we realized that even though we took probably around 400 pictures, Abraham seems to be mysteriously missing in most of them. Yes, Abraham was on the trip to Orlando if anyone was wondering! He's almost done with his doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary and will be returning to India in August with Laura, Abby, and Andrew to be missionaries. We're all so proud of him. Here's a picture from our visit last Saturday night. We love you Abraham!

Crazy for my New Camera!

Benjamin and I took an hour and a half walk today through a cemetery that's right across from our church (the church is also where he goes to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays). We went right after I picked him up from school and I took over 300 pictures (don't worry, I didn't post them all...only my favorites). David and I have been to this cemetery several times. It's so peaceful and quiet and really makes you realize how short life really is. Makes me think about my life and wonder if what I'm doing is really pleasing God? Am I bearing good fruit for Him? Am I going to hear "Well done, good and faithful servant" one day from Him? Really makes me puts things in perspective when I get all wrapped up in the petty things around me. Makes me see the bigger picture. It's not about things...it's about love; a love for Christ and a love for one another.

Christmas Again?

Yep, thanks to Aunt Bev, Uncle Merritt, Becca, and Ralph. We had a surprise package on our door Tuesday night from FedEx. More presents! Here's some pics for you, Aunt Bev and Uncle Merritt, of Benjamin opening his gifts. By the way, the gifts for Frederick, well, Benjamin has claimed them as his. Notice him sitting at the table pretending to eat them....payback for Frederick taking over his puppy dog pallet!

The Grandparents got Benjamin a neat little puppy dog pallet for the floor. However, Frederick had other plans for it......he's claimed it as his. It was too cute not to take a picture of it.

Sea World Again!

Our last day, January 4th, we headed back to Sea World because we had time to kill before our flight at 7pm. I'm thinking his favorite part of today was the dolphin show. He couldn't take his eyes off it! David's least favorite part? When the squirrel bit him.....

Melbourne Beach Day

On January 3rd we headed to the beach! Sadly I had to wear tennis shoes because of my hurt toe (didn't want to get sand in the wound) so that was a bummer. But Benjamin got to fly a kite and play in the sand. Abby and Andrew had a good time in the water. Benjamin was a little frightened of the water however. Every time the waves would crash on the beach he would run the other way. It was so cute!

Sea World

On January 2nd we headed to Sea World! Benjamin got to see Elmo in person for the first time and was so intrigued. Unfortunately, he missed out on Shamu because he slept during the entire show. Oh well, at least we've got pictures to show him!

Epcot Center

On January 1st we went to Epcot. Benjamin's favorite part was playing in the center with all the little squares that light up on the floor in the Imagination Station. The bad part of the day is that we couldn't find our car! David must have searched that parking lot for 20 minutes and it was cold and windy by that time. Didn't seem to bother Benjamin - he had a blast playing in the parking lot.
