India Part III

Apparently I'm famous in India.

Living conditions for many families in India. This was right in the middle of an affluent neighborhood.

Eleven people in an 8 person vehicle. Ha ha! Typical in India.

An Indian palace we visited.

A massive tree at the palace.

Another Indian bucket bath.

Savannah was quite the rockstar.

Ben, too! Strangers we intrigued by their light hair and eyes.

India Part I

Our trip to India was a blast.  It's a different world over there and I'm so thankful we got to experience it.  Can't wait to go back!  Yes, I mean that.  :)

By the way, David took close to 900 pictures....don't worry, I won't post them all.  However, that means my India posts are going to be broken up into segments.  This post is Part I.

The picture above is our first day there.......Granddaddy and all the cousins.  Jet lag is in full effect at this point!

Holy Cow!!!

Silly

As I was going through the pictures on my phone I found this one. Savannah had hijacked my phone and was taking pictures. She took this one of herself. Makes me smile.

Date Night

When I was gathering pictures from the last year to put on our Christmas card I realized that David and I hardly ever have our picture taken together.  We have a gazillion of the kids though, go figure.  So, this past date night we made sure we actually got of picture of us. :)

Poor Family

The family that's sick together, sleeps together......

Christmas

Unfortunately I didn't take a lot of pictures this year at Christmas. The pictures below are the only ones I took. We had a great time. My mom came and stayed the night with us Christmas Eve and then because of the snow storm she went home early to Sherman on Christmas morning before the roads got too bad. We were still able to have our traditional Christmas casserole before she left though, yummy! Later Christmas day my amazing husband fed a house full of people. His parents came, his cousin Keith, and our friends Mirtha, Alan and their kids (Emily and Christopher). It was crazy, but fun. The menu included duck, turkey, broccoli cheese casserole, sweet potato casserole and don't forget pumpkin and pecan pies!

White Christmas

It actually happened!  It snowed on Christmas day!
