Migraines, Sinus Headaches, and more.....oh my!

Since Sunday evening I've been battling severe headaches. The headaches were so bad I could barely move at times without feeling like my head was going to explode. I've been going back and forth with my doctor trying to find the right medication to relieve them. She was thinking they were migraines so she prescribed migraine medication. That didn't work so I assumed they were sinus headaches. So she then prescribed me some medication for sinuses and prescription pain killers and that still didn't work. As of this morning, after a long night of torture with a pounding head, I decided to try the migraine medicine one more time. Thankfully it worked! The only drawback was that it made me extremely groggy. I spent half the day asleep. But I can joyfully say that I am pain free as of this moment. It's been a hard week. Let's hope this nightmare is behind me.

Benjamin hasn't seemed to mind though! I've felt bad that I haven't been able to get out of the house with him. He's had diarrhea...again....but for the most part has been in a really good mood.

Dinner Guests

My cousin Alyssa and her husband Jared came over Saturday evening for buffalo wings and potato salad. It was good to catch up with them. No pics of Benjamin this time - I forgot to take any. But he did have a really good time playing with all of Alyssa's jewelry!

Won't Fit...

I caught Benjamin trying to fit into this little wooden car the other day. It's days later and he's still trying to fit himself into it.

Heard the baby's heartbeat yesterday at the doctor's office. I was actually surprised this time because it seemed so much slower than Ben's was at this time. Maybe because it's not so new to me this time. Who knows? Still exciting! I told her about the symptoms I've been having this week and she said it's not uncommon for nausea to accompany migraines. She called me in some medicine for nausea and we'll see if that helps!

Sick Again?

I had my day all planned out while Benjamin was at Jubilee Junction (Mother's Day Out program) today. Plans changed.....I received a call from the supervisor and they needed me to come pick up Benjamin an hour and a half early because he had diarrhea and they couldn't get him to stop crying. Poor thing. He never gets sick so this last week and a half has been exhausting for him. First fever and now diarrhea. We'll try again next Tuesday.

103.5....

That was Benjamin's temperature at it's highest on Tuesday. He was fighting a temperature for about 2 days. We were so worried. He's all better now. Thank goodness.

The next few pictures are of a bath towel from his cousins. So cute! He loves it.

Utensils....

Benjamin loves to use a fork with his food - whether it be Ravioli or a sandwich. However, as we can see, he's not real good at it yet. Messy boy!

Michael Buble!!!!

David and I got 3rd row seats to Michael Buble for October 11!!! We just love him. He's a lot like Frank Sinatra. One of my absolute favorites.

Jubilee Junction

Tuesday was Benjamin's first day of the Mother's Day Out program at our church. He goes every Tuesday. They can go Thursdays as well but I chickened out and just signed him up for one day a week. Of course he cried when I dropped him off but by the time I came to pick him up he was having a blast. They even got him to take a nap for over an hour! I didn't think that was going to be possible considering there are 3 other toddlers in his class. I figured he would be too distracted by the others to actually lie down and sleep.

Friday's Sonogram....

Friday's sonogram went great! Here's a picture of the little one. It's kind of hard to make out but we did see the arms, legs, head, torso, spine, and a heartbeat!
