Zoo

Last Friday David surprised me and took the afternoon off and we headed to the zoo. Out of all the fun things to see and do Benjamin's favorite thing was the carousel. He couldn't get enough of it and would cry each time we walked by it because he more, more, more!

NKOTB

Natalie and I had a blast at the New Kids concert last week. We had great seats - we were in the perfect position to see them going in and out of their dressing room in between songs at the side of the stage...kind of took the mystery out of how it all works behind the scenes! It was fun though. I actually think we had more fun making fun of all the crazy fans (women my age acting like total fools). Good times!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a Pumpkin patch last weekend (his 2nd one this season). Benjamin had a great time - a much better time than last year. He loved to have the animals lick his fingers. Gross, but oh well - that's why they make hand sanitizer, right?

Stuck!

I left Benjamin in his playroom while I stepped into the kitchen for a little bit and moments later I hear him crying in his playroom. When I enter the room this is what I saw......

He had climbed into one of his old walkers and couldn't figure out how to get out!

The next picture is of Benjamin and Grandpa who came over for a quick visit on Wednesday. They both had on their Hawaiian shirts and I just couldn't resist the photo opportunity! Yes, Benjamin is going for his nose....his new favorite photo position....oh dear.

Michael Buble Concert

We had an amazing time at the Michael Buble concert last night. David was mistaken, we didn't have 3rd row seats....we had 2ND ROW SEATS! It was incredible. Not only is he talented, but he's really quite funny. Frank Sinatra has been my all time favorite, but Michael Buble is quickly catching up!

North Carolina

We took a short trip last week to North Carolina to visit family. It was such a great visit and it was nice to reconnect with everyone. Thank goodness I didn't have any migraine attacks! Here's some pics....

Migraines, Sinus Headaches, and more.....oh my!

Since Sunday evening I've been battling severe headaches. The headaches were so bad I could barely move at times without feeling like my head was going to explode. I've been going back and forth with my doctor trying to find the right medication to relieve them. She was thinking they were migraines so she prescribed migraine medication. That didn't work so I assumed they were sinus headaches. So she then prescribed me some medication for sinuses and prescription pain killers and that still didn't work. As of this morning, after a long night of torture with a pounding head, I decided to try the migraine medicine one more time. Thankfully it worked! The only drawback was that it made me extremely groggy. I spent half the day asleep. But I can joyfully say that I am pain free as of this moment. It's been a hard week. Let's hope this nightmare is behind me.

Benjamin hasn't seemed to mind though! I've felt bad that I haven't been able to get out of the house with him. He's had diarrhea...again....but for the most part has been in a really good mood.

Dinner Guests

My cousin Alyssa and her husband Jared came over Saturday evening for buffalo wings and potato salad. It was good to catch up with them. No pics of Benjamin this time - I forgot to take any. But he did have a really good time playing with all of Alyssa's jewelry!

Won't Fit...

I caught Benjamin trying to fit into this little wooden car the other day. It's days later and he's still trying to fit himself into it.

Heard the baby's heartbeat yesterday at the doctor's office. I was actually surprised this time because it seemed so much slower than Ben's was at this time. Maybe because it's not so new to me this time. Who knows? Still exciting! I told her about the symptoms I've been having this week and she said it's not uncommon for nausea to accompany migraines. She called me in some medicine for nausea and we'll see if that helps!
