For people who know me well, they know my dream. A log cabin on the bank of a river, blue speckled camping dishes, snow, red flannel pj's, a cup of coffee, and a couple of rockers on the front porch. We'd have a beat up very old green pick up truck with no a/c or heater, I'd have apple pies cooling in the window, the kids would be fishing in the river while David and I are rocking in our rocking chairs drinking our coffee. The only sounds would be the river, the kids laughing, the leaves blowing, and great conversation with my husband. If I don't get it in this lifetime, I'm sure hoping that the good Lord will bless me with this dream in heaven.
I went to my sweet friend Sharon's house the other morning for some coffee and good quality play time with her kids and mine. While in her kitchen I noticed a painting. She said the artist is Terry Redlin. That day when I got home I looked him up on the internet. He is so amazing; he reminds a lot of Thomas Kinkade with the way he can "light" up a painting. As I was browsing through his work I came across the picture below. This. Is. My. Dream.
