Kerrville Folk Festival

David and I spent the weekend in the Hill Country to celebrate our 9 year anniversary.  We rented a house on the river.  I spent HOURS in a hammock, reading a book, taking a nap, and listening to a surprise rain shower!  H.E.A.V.E.N.

Of course we had to visit our hippie friends at the festival.  Good music, guitars, dread locks, campfires, tents, tie-dyed shirts, and lots of peace.  We had so much fun visiting with most of these friends that we only see once a year there at the festival.  We stayed up into the wee hours of the morning talking and catching up.  (That's why the long naps during the day in the hammock back at the river house).  The people there are awesome.  Just awesome.  There's no judging, no pretentiousness....just peace and love man!!!  Ha ha.

Here is David at the festival at the campsite right before we left to go back to the house.  All I need here is a one word description..........R.E.L.A.X.A.T.I.ON.

While we were at the house I saw this great picture....it completely captures what I want our house to be like.

Ok, so the saying below it about relatives....well I can't relate to that one because I already do relate to them!
